Artist’s Statement

The American Anxiety Cycle, irritating and indiscriminate, dictates social behavior with alarming regularity.  This awkward lens through which (at the gunpoint of normalcy) we force our minds to focus necessitates the acrobatics our personas engage in on a daily bases.  Tumbling from Stoic Commuter to Friendly Consumer only to hop obediently into Dissatisfied Employee (soon to be Exhausted and Dissatisfied Employee) with such thoughtless routine we almost don't notice at all.  My work inspects the nexus of this ubiquitous dissociative disorder, capturing physical feeling through mental networks and landscapes.
