Artis Grant Program

Consulate General of Israel to Florida and Puerto Rico
From the beginning of the 20th Century, visual arts in Israel have shown a creative orientation influenced by the encounter between East and West.  The Consulate General of Israel generously provides support for Israeli artists invited to The Fountainhead Residency.

Cultural Services in the French Embassy
The cultural Services in the French Embassy generously provides support for French artists invited to The Fountainhead Residency.  In 2018, Tout-Monde Festival was hosted in Miami, at cultural institutions around town.  On the last evening of the Festival an artist was awarded a Fountainhead Residency for the upcoming year to participate in next year's festival.  All programs are made possible with the additional support of French Arts Associates.

Diaspora Vibe
Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator commitment to artists of Caribbean and diverse cultures ensures they receive validation, visibility and professional opportunities. Our artists break boundaries of traditional forms and work outside of institutionalized systems, they often must create new systems and infrastructures to sustain their practice. We promote, nurture and exhibit the diverse talents of emerging artists from the Latin and Caribbean Diasporas through an artist-in-residence program, international exchanges, community arts events and a dynamic exhibition program collaborating with art spaces and inhabiting the virtual landscape.

Alternative Art Spaces
 

Art and Culture Center of Hollywood
The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood presents contemporary gallery exhibitions, live stage performances, and high-quality education programs for adults and children. 

Bas Fisher Invitational
The BFI is an artist run alternative art space, located in the Buena Vista Building in Miami's Design District. It was founded in July 2004 by artists Hernan Bas and Naomi Fisher after the closing of their favorite alternative art space, "the House." 

Bridge Red
Bridge Red Studios is an artists' complex in North Miami. Bridge Red consists of 10 working artist studios and an exhibition / project space that is run by sculptor and painter Robert Thiele, his daughter, painter Kristen Thiele, and his son-in-law, photographer and graphic designer Francesco Casale. Recently, Bridge Red Studios/Project Space was the recipient of a Knight Challenge Grant to further the mission to exhibit, document, and expose the art work of strong and developed artists who do not get the exposure their work merits.   

Dimensions Variable
The intention behind Dimensions Variable is the characterization of the "project" in contemporary art. We aspire to provide a contextualizing forum and a discursive support structure for the introduction of unfamiliar, complex, collaborative and multidisciplinary practices to a Miami audience.  

Girls’ Club
Girls’ Club is a private foundation and alternative space established in 2006 by Francie Bishop Good and David Horvitz. With its special emphasis on the contribution of women to the field of contemporary art, its mission is to educate the public, and to serve as a resource for art students and scholars, curators and practicing artists.

Locust Projects
Locust Projects in a not for profit exhibition space dedicated to providing contemporary visual artists the freedom to experiment with new ideas without the pressure of gallery sales or limitations of conventional exhibition spaces.
