Artist’s Statement

Francesca DiMattio (b. 1981) lives and works in New York.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003 at Cooper Union and her Master of Fine Arts in 2005 at Columbia University. Recent exhibitions include "Master of Reality" at the Rose Art Museum in Brandeis, MA; "Unhinged" at LAXART in Los Angeles; "First Look I" and "Size Matters: XXL - recent large-scale paintings" at Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art in Peekskill, NY; and "The Triumph of Painting" and "American Abstraction" at the Saatchi Gallery in London.  Francesca DiMattio is represented by Salon 94 in New York.
