I like romance, but I don’t like relationship
I like planet, but I don’t like pedestal
I like skin, but I don’t like canvas
I like related, but I don’t like relevant
I like referential, but I don’t like emblematic
I like poetic, but I don’t like poet
I like inside-out, but I don’t like insider
I like author, but I don’t like authority
I like potent, but I don’t like important
I like lateral, but I don’t like literal
I like formal, but I don’t like formulated
I like well read, but I don’t like well rounded
I like hedge, but I don’t like hegemony
I like atlas backwards, but I don’t like backasswards
And I like push-pull, but I don’t like to be jerked around

I’m interested in something that doesn’t make the kind of sense that allows for symbolism, specific interpretation, verifiable social relevance, or any of the other ways that art can close meaning.
