Artist’s Statement
For the past twenty years, I have been traveling and creating art in a site-specific fashion, reacting and responding to the mercurial intersection of space, time, and mind in any given moment. It is an exciting and often unsettling way to create. Electricity has been the central material for creating these site-specific landscapes, both physically and metaphorically. It is an inclusive and expansive woven material that connects us. In its most fundamental manifestation, it is a source of light. Light stimuli evokes many emotions and can respond to a large variety of environments, its possibilities playful and infinite.
