A Season in Heaven: Living Post Internet

Dearly beloved,

We are gathered here today to get through this thing called life/the Internet. The Internet is everywhere. Users only take drugs when they are away from their computers too long, or because their Iphones are too slow. I like getting high on life and the Internet helps. The Internet is like a mouse, the Internet is like a house, the Internet is like a dog, the Internet is like a frog, I am connected here, I am connected there. Your best friend lives a thousand miles away but you Gchat everyday. Twitter is crazy romantic. Pretty face, shitty Tumblr URL. On he Internet nobody knows you're a dog, and off the Internet nobody knows you spend your weekends pretending to be a dog. It was only 20 McChickens, but that's cool, adds to my mythology or whatever. All the babes are on Facebook but want you to holla at em on Twitter. Favs are like smooches. RT's are like making out. If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to photograph it with their Iphone while simultaneously uploading it to Tumblr, Facebook, Flickr, Google Reader, Instagram, Twitter, and Delicous does the tree really exist?
