Artist’s Statement

I draw a line between relationships. The work is self-reflective, it stems from the way I remember experiences, sometimes ones that are questionable even occurred. My work in its physical form deals with the false realities that we create to cope with experiences sometimes masked, layered, stitched, or intangible. Light hearted or surreal, they touch base with moments or places I wish I could have experienced. I acknowledge the process as a relationship, starting with an idea and working with it as it grows sometime incorporating different medias to capture my thoughts as closely as I see them.
