Artist’s Statement

My work is Nomadic.  

The Nomadic approach is a response to a contemporary world composed of interrelations, superpositions, and boundary transgressions that are rhizomatic in nature. 

Although my work utilizes a variety of processes and materials, and references a myriad of conceptual investigations, as well as an intuitive matrix: the work pivots on issues related to control.

The result is often works that stand in contrast and contradiction to each other.  I am not concerned with the trappings of developing a signature style.  

I am engaged in exploring the boundary between chaos and order.
