Day 2 – Friday, March 2nd – The Wolfsonian-FIU Meet two Francophone Caribbean artists and their work Kenny Dunkan, visual and performing artist, presenting an installation in the museum’s permanent collection and a live performance Shirley Bruno, film director, presenting “Tezen”, moderated by Jason Jeffers, Third Horizon
Day 3 – Saturday, March 3rd – Little Haiti Cultural Complex Understand Caribbean history and legends through film, music, dance and theatre
A conversation with the festival curators, Claire Tancons and Johanna Auguiac, and Yarimar Bonilla, author of “Non–Sovereign Futures – French Caribbean Politics in the Wake of Disenchantment”
Live performances by Jean-François Boclé, artist in residence at Fountainhead residency
Caribbean short-film program curated by Third Horizon and
“Le cri de mes racines”, a duo dance performance dedicated to Haïti, by Josiane Antourel & Yna Boulangé
“Notebook of a return to my native land”, by Aimé Césaire, Theatre recital directed and interpreted by Jacques Martial
Day 4 – Sunday, March 4th – Mana Wynwood Hétéronomonde
A conversation with all artists and a visual arts exhibition presenting 10 Caribbean artists through installations, videos and photography, with: Robert Charlotte, Julien Creuzet, Mathieu Kleyebe Abonnenc, Mirtho Linguet, Shirley Rufin, Kelly Sinnapah Mary, Loriel Beltran, Adler Guerrier and Jilian Mayer
An Urban live performance with muralist Ronald Cyrille and slammer Black Kalagan curated by Street Art for Mankind
Caribbean short-film program curated by Third Horizon
Closing Ceremony – Sunday, March 4th, 2018 (ticketed event) Tout-Monde Award Ceremonywith Christiane Taubira, Cultural Ambassador of the festival, Mr. Clément Leclercthe Consul general of France in Miami, Mrs. Sylvie Glissant, special guest and Mr. Edouard Duval-Carrié, President of theTout-Monde Jury followed by a Caribbean buffet and After-Party.
