Valentina Gutiérrez Turbay (b. Bogotá, 1992) is a researcher and curator based in Santiago de Chile. She is the founder and director of Espacio El Dorado, a gallery and curatorial laboratory in Bogotá and a Masters student at the Centro de Estudios Culturales Latinoamericanos (CECLA) at the school of Humanities and Philosophy of the Universidad de Chile. Her work is aimed towards presenting the complexities of current Latin American identity, highlighting the importance of the place of enunciation in literary and artistic discourses. She was the co-coordinator of the Escuela de Crítica de Arte at the Sala de Arte Publico Siqueiros in Cuernavaca, Mexico and has curated shows at the Museum of Modern Art in Bogotá, Centro Cultural Metropolitano in Quito and the Institute of Northamerican Culture in Lima.
